Dragon Chess Set – I got one

Hello everyone, I ‘ve been away for quite awhile but am back now. I recovered from the holidays and it’s time to get back to work, Unfortunately I was laid off from my job this last month. What does that mean? That means more time for chess! Except that all my friends are working.
After being laid off, I consoled myself by buying a new chess set. I bought a Dragon Chess Set. Not jus the kind that has dragon related chess pieces but the one with additional pices that are Dragons, two extra pawns per color and an enhanced chess board. I believe there was someone who made apost on the Dragon Chess Set earlier on this same blog. I wanted something different, something new. As an avid standard chess player, I would not normally stray off from standard chess so I’m sure that getting laid off had something to do with it. I will let you know how I like it as I get more play in.
Guess I ought to go out and look for a job.

Sorry to hear about your job, hope that situation resolves itself soon. The Dragon chess set looks very interesting, quite unique in many ways. Have you had many games using the extended playing area yet?
