It doesn’t matter what kind of chess set you play with, strategy is the name of the game. To have a winning game in chess, chess strategy is of the utmost importance. You can’t go into a chess game with no plan of deployment and attack and expect to be successful.
There are chess strategies for the opening, the middle game and the end game. Some strategic plays have even been named such as the RuyLopez opening, the Sicilian Defense and the Zwischenzug. Building chess strategy takes time, much study and analysis and lots of practice.
Where do you start? There are multitudes of books on chess strategy for every level of play. You can find an enormous amount of chess strategy information on-line. You can take chess lessons from one of the many schools around or even take them through the Internet. Most of all – play, play, play.
